Aptos "plants its flag" in Korea: A quick look at the 15 winning projects at the Seoul Hackathon

The Aptos Seoul Hack, the first leg of the AptosWorldTour hackathon, was held earlier this month to encourage developers to innovate in gaming, social/NFT, DeFi, tools, and the Move language. More than 400 applications were received, more than 50 projects were officially submitted to the hack, and more than 180 developers participated.

On February 15, Aptos announced the 15 winning projects, here's a quick look at the winners.

play 

AptoPlay (first prize)

AptoPlay offers easy integration and a seamless user experience for game developers building on the Aptos network, specifically by providing tools that prioritize player experience and ease of use, as well as integrating with the game engine and allowing for social logins.AptoPlay is also planning to develop a fully on-chain game backend solution on Aptos.

Yours (second prize)

Yours is a game-centric wallet that issues, trades and enhances in-game assets while measuring player activity through data captured offline, online and on the Aptos network.

CannedBi (third prize)

CannedBi is a digital pet game built around the Metaverse Network platform on the Aptos network and incorporates GameFi concepts such as on-chain quest completion, NFT badge issuance and token pledging. Users can also develop and interact with their own NFT character, Cannedbi.

Game Station (Honorable Mention) 

Game Station provides developer tools for seamlessly loading Web2 games onto the Aptos network.

Social /NFT 

Life Mining (first prize)

The Life Mining solution involves connecting real and digital life through the use of video and NFT. Creators and fans can participate in challenges and record the process on video. By completing the challenges, they can earn rewards and create shared NFTs to commemorate their achievements. life Mining says its solution can be used in the education, entertainment and sports industries.

PerSecond (second prize)

PerSecond allows users to generate meeting links and share them with potential experts, then set up time-based payment streams through the Aptos network.

DID You Eat (Third Prize)

DID You Eat allows customers to collect unique SBTs from the restaurants they visit, capturing the memories and experiences of each dining adventure while enabling restaurants to build a detailed understanding of their customer base across the Aptos network.

DID You Eat says its app will help customers collect memories, while store owners will have access to customer preference information.

Ourchive (Honorable Mention)

Ourchive is a decentralized panorama gallery marketplace that casts images as NFTs for transparent and efficient ownership management and allows users to trade images within it without regard to copyright.Ourchive also offers an integrated UX solution where creators and users can experience uploading and downloading images simultaneously.

DeFi 

Merkle Trade (first prize)

Merkle Trade is a decentralized leveraged trading platform that enables users to trade cryptocurrencies and forex on the Aptos network with up to 1000x leverage.

Neutral Alpha (second prize)

Neutral Alpha is designed to provide a solution for contributors to AMM pools that suffer from extraordinary losses by helping LP contributors to hedge their risk, primarily through derivatives-linked security models in traditional finance.

Umi Pool (third prize)

Umi Pool is an AMM that helps to improve profitability and reduce impermanent losses through active liquidity control and rebalancing mechanisms.

Invincible Aptos (Honorable Mention)

Invincible Aptos is a modular DeFi project that combines liquidity pledging, leverage, and token exchange, allowing users to mint or borrow stablecoins and collateralize their pledged tokens.Invincible Aptos is scheduled to go live on the main website in the second quarter of this year.

MoveHub (first prize)

MoveHub is designed to provide developers with the tools to search, promote and build their own applications on the Aptos network by providing indexing and module identification support that can be combined without coding.

Genie (second prize) 

Genie provides a unified identity layer for users of both Web2 and Web3 platforms, connecting social network Profile files for seamless navigation.

InBond (third prize)

The InBond protocol works by providing investors with a convertible bond when investing in a project, rather than receiving tokens up front. The bond can be used to vote on propositions and can be converted to tokens at any time, or even redeem their investment.InBond can also create a convertible marketplace to enable trading and generate platform revenue.

Dittos (Honorable Mention)

Dittos is a zero-knowledge address abstraction (zkAA) solution designed to eliminate the need for address mapping while allowing direct use of Web2 identities on the Aptos network.

Best Move 

Werewolf and Witch (first prize)

Werewolf and Witch is a fully decentralized NFT war game.

Options Factory (second prize)

Options Factory enables institutional and DeFi users to create long/short positions for European call/put options.Options Factory will further support the ability to create structured products by encapsulating FT and NFT. Option issuers issue both long and short option tokens, and by selling one side of the option token, the issuer can establish a position in one direction. The seller of the option tokens receives an option premium from the buyer.

Coin object (third prize)

Coin object plans to develop and run an indexer API for querying object-based tokens. coin object will also develop 'stream APIs' for notifying users of changes to object-based tokens in the Aptos blockchain.

Clank (Honorable Mention)

Clank is a conditional multi-factor authentication solution built on the Aptos network. Additional authentication is only required when conditions are met. When a user uses a small amount of money, only one signature is required, although single sign-on authentication is also required if the set withdrawal limit is exceeded.
